Wedding gifts poem

A short poem written by my wife regarding wedding gifts (we needed money for a conservatory, so she wrote this for us to politely ask for money instead)…

Wifey and Me

We hope not to offend
By writing this request
It’s wedding gifts we’re talking about
As we’re unsure what to say for the best

We’ve got a lovely home full to the brim
More things just won’t fit
So a conservatory is what we hope to build
A place for Samuel to play and for us to sit

So if you’d like to contribute to our fund
A huge thank you is what we would say
Looking forward to seeing you in October
We hope you have a fantastic day!
