FIFA 2023 PlayStation PDF controls guide

I was surprised to find that there’s no easy PDF guide to download that features all the FIFA 23 controls. Instead if you do a Google search, it just comes up with various web pages that are then either full of adverts, or they cannot easily be printed out, or they simply look awful on a mobile phone so you cannot use them when playing the game.

Additionally, the way these web sites often present the controls are laid out poorly – for example when attacking it’s not easy to see what all the controls are for crossing or for shooting, or when defending what the controls are for controlling other teammates etc. It’s all the same bland colour and the order seems odd.

So I thought, “sod this, I’ll make my own”!

I’ve kept the overall structure but moved some bits around, but also importantly added colour. The idea is that you print this out and have it to hand to quickly refer to when you’re actually playing. That way you can far more quickly improve your mastery of the game.

It includes all the FIFA23 controls for PlayStation only: so Simplified controls, Movement, Attacking (Simple and Advanced), Tactics, Defending, Goalkeeper, Set pieces – Free kicks / Corners and Throw ins / Penalties, Skill moves (1 star, 2 star, 3 star, 4 star and 5 star, as well as juggling tricks).
